a little trick when crocheting an edge

maybe you like this little trick?

often i remove the yarn where i’ve attached it to my crochet work, i’m kind of doing it without thinking. it is not something special, it is not exciting and it certainly not difficult to do. the result is neat-looking first and last stitches side by side.

you might like to know how to remove the yarn where you have attached it?
for this you can use a needle with a blunt tip or your crochet hook.

please use the pictures as your guide, they will be much clearer than if you would have to read a lot text. you can click on the photos to see them larger if you like to.

for this little ‘how to’ i use my WIP: the small squares.

A. this small square consists of three rows.

B. start row 4
C. from here follow the pattern
D. how to remove the yarn
E. how to finish the row?
F. cut yarn and now you can weave in the yarn ends in the usual way
G and this is how it looks
