cushion cover

welcome, hope you are fine!

in between i made a new cushion cover.

cushion cover made of 8 large squares

a while back i bought a few balls phildar aviso, i did not know that yarn and wanted to try it. it is a blend of 60% cotton and 40% acrylic and it is suitable for hook size 4.5 – 5 mm but i have worked with crochet hook size 5.5 mm. the yarn splits a bit and i think it works a little stiff, but it feels soft.

the colors i used are ecru (a creamy white shade), sorbet (my favorite, a light pink) and natural (a very light brown). the squares are the same as the ones for the blanket in beige and pink, only they are much larger because the yarn is thicker. for the closure i crocheted a long string of chains and threaded it through the stitches on one side of the cushion cover. the cover is suitable for a cushion of 50 x 50 cm

that was a quick project:)

.

have a nice day!
