yellow WIP

nice to see you, hope you are fine!
still working to get my blog better and i also have to check all the pictures on it because of all the wrong links and strange words that are linked to them. i dare not even imagine how many photos i still have to do. it’s a boring job and i’m not even resizing the photos, otherwise you have to lock me away.
i escaped my computer to look around in a store where they sell all kinds of different things and i have been seduced by yellow acrylic yarn. the bright yellow color (think lemons and daffodils) i found irresistible. i started a picnic rug/blanket because as soon as the weather permits, i like to enjoy a drink and a snack in the park.
by the way, a tutorial for this blanket is in the works.

at home there are more yellow things, so it’s a color that attracts me.

  3. Oh YES I do love your yellow collection! It is such a happy color…And your picnic blanket is so pretty and a wonderful idea – I am sitting at a window right now overlooking a meadow…It is snowing outside…but I can still dream of a picnic on this meadow 🙂 Have a lovely Sunday dear Elisabeth♡Anette

  4. Yellow just right for right now as the outside is still so white and grey.
    Beautiful photos.

  5. Beautiful photos! I love the colour yellow too – it’s really uplifting 🙂 The vase cover is so pretty and I see your Phildar cotton….I’ve only recently discovered this brand of yarn and have fallen in love with it already! Have a wonderful day,
    Elisabeth x

  6. I love yellow. Your afghan and pictures made me so happy just now. I totally want to paint my walls yellow, alas I am stuck in a apartment that doesn’t allow painting.

  7. I recently bought yellow and grey yarn because I LOVE this colour combination! 🙂

  8. Yellow is great. Love the WIP. The vase cover is one of my favourite items!

  9. Oh, I love yellow in all it shades! In our old home we had a sunny yellow like the sunflower in our living room at the wall. It always made me a smile on my face. Have a sunny day! 😀

  10. Lovely combination of colors.

  11. There does seem to be pops of yellow quite regularly here on your blog 🙂 But’s it’s making me think of sunshine which is exactly what I need right now! Hopefully your computer woes are almost behind you now!

  12. I love yellow flowers. That’s about it, I don’t look for yellow things, which might be a mistake considering your photographs. 🙂

  13. I love yellow but I find it really difficult to get right – I’m not great at choosing colours for clothing so I try to keep it to accessories, blankets etc.

  14. I love the bright happy yellow! And it looks awesome with the gray and white too!

  15. I love a bright and sunny yellow, especially in combination with grey.

Seven years ago we bought a new kitchen and I wanted a yellow kitchen.
Unfortunately the kitchen planner in the kitchen store talked me out of it, because apparently yellow kitchens were no longer in fashion.
It was a psychological matter: I didn’t dare to contradict him, for he was the specialist in this matter and it seemed that he wanted to show that.
I still regret that I have a beige kitchen in stead of a yellow one.

  16. Gorgeous I LOVE yellow. X

  17. I love yellow. In the house upstairs all the walls are primrose white which gives a very sunny impression even on gloomy days without being too bright.

  18. we are decorating at the moment and half a wall is yellow – we can’t decide yet how many walls to paint – it does look sunny x
